Ordering & Pricing
The Cakery will try to work within all budgets and price ranges to make the perfect cake for you! That being said, pricing for cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods are generally determined by a per serving price, determined by the number of tiers and sort of outer icing. Also playing a part in determining price is flavour, filling, type of decor, difficulty and time involved. Fondant and gumpaste decorations and accessories may also be extra to the cost of the cake.
Notes:
* For large order cakes, a 25% deposit is required upon booking.
* Please note, that there is a minimum base price for the cakes. Smaller cakes start in the $30 range.
* Shaped and Carved cakes start at $40 and go up (please note as well, that some shaped cakes do not have filling)
* Specialty cake flavours are an additional $3-$5 onto total per tier
* Specialty cake fillings are an additional $3-5 onto total per tier
* Fondant/gumpaste characters and decorations may be additional depending on length of time to create
Cupcakes, all sold by the dozen
*swirled buttercream icing $1.25 each
*swirled with simple fondant cut out $1.50 each
*fondant covered $1.75 each
*fondant covered with fondant decoration, starting at $2 each
Two weeks notice for cake orders if required at the very least, but that does not guarantee that the date is still available, I have orders months in advance, so the earlier you know the better chances of getting the date you require! Anything less than 2 weeks, and the date may not be available, but I will do my best to accomodate everyone!
We are located in the Ottawa Valley, a quick distance away from Renfrew, Arnprior, Pakenham, Kanata and surrounding areas (appr. 35 min West of Kanata). 3) What shape or size (tiered, cupcake/cake combo etc) are you interested in?
4) What flavour(s) would you like!?
5) What type of outer icing do you prefer? (ie: buttercream, fondant etc)
6) Is there a theme for the cake? What sort of decor would you like the cake to have!?
7) What is the budget you would like to work within for the cake!?
